Finding your passion early enough

Finding your passion early enough

Over the past few years, more and more millennials have been able to make a career out of their passions and hobbies. We have heard stories of people who come out of nowhere to break boundaries and follow their passion. You too can make way for yourself by following your passion early enough. Find out how;

Know yourself

You must know who you are, what you’re good at. Ask yourself what you enjoy doing and what you absolutely hate? This is not something you learn in school. Overtime you learn from your life experiences.The more experiences the better. When in doubt, keep learning and experimenting. The best way to learn about yourself is through the art of experimenting and self-learning.

Do the Impossible

Most people don’t believe it’s possible to have a passionate career. In fact, the Nigerian society trains us not to take on some risks early enough. If you ask me who sets the rules? No one! Showing yourself and people around you that you can do things you couldn’t, has a major confidence booster on your life. Try that!

Surround yourself with passionate people

The fastest way to do the impossible is to start hanging around people already doing it. Simple as that. If you don’t have supportive people around you — you know, people who really understand you and who you want to become, then change is all but impossible. If your parents, those around you, don’t believe in you, make them believe in you by constantly proving to them that you are more than capable to do that thing you love dearly.

Since the creation of the world, everyone has been created with a purpose on Earth. Find your purpose as nobody is holding you back except yourself. If you have questions, kindly use the comment section. I would be glad to help.
