Richard Mofe-Damijo, RMD as he is widely known and fondly referred to is the biggest male actor to come out of Nigeria in particular and Africa as a whole. He has starred in well over 60 movies and TV Series locally and internationally. Here are some lessons to learn.
Money is not the answer to all problems
Money is not everything, there are loads of things more important than money and good people top the list.
We feel as young people we ought to go after money at all cost. Whereas those who have money are trying to give it away. If you have 15 shoes in your shoe rack, you will notice that some of those shoes will never be worn. You can never get satisfied with money.
Advice for young actors
Be intentional about everything you do irrespective of your career path.
Everything happens with an intention. You should not be nonchalant with your intentions and leaving things to chance. Do not live your life without an intention. Don’t enter a relationship without intention, Don’t pursue a career without an intention. Don’t start a business without an intention. Your intentions will define your actions.
Haters will always be haters
Don’t expend energy fighting “haters” and enemies, rather walk in the light of God’s word
There is no point thinking or fighting people who hate you for no reason. All you need to do is to keep walking and working to achieve your dreams. Haters will always be haters.
