Ifedayo Olarinde (Daddy Freeze)
Everyone calls me Daddy Freeze, he is a broadcaster, an event compere and a man of controversial taste. Freeze has been in broadcasting for over 20 years.
In 2001, Freeze started work with Cool FM as a broadcaster and production officer. Freeze has been privileged to have one on one interviews with likes of top local and international acts including Boyz 2 Men, Angie Stone, Akon, Brian McKnight, Sisquo, Joe, SWV, Brick and Lace, Wycleff Jean, ASA, amongst others. He hosts the Road Show everyday on Cool FM.
Emmanuel Essien (Mannie)
Emmanuel Essien is a Nigerian radio presenter, voice-over artist, singer, compere, and former actor. He is the host of the Good Morning Nigeria show on Nigerian radio station, 96.9 Cool FM, in Lagos. He is a voice-over has given him the opportunity to work for top brands like Coca-Cola, FCMB, MTN and Chicken Republic.
Temilola B Akinmuda (Taymib)
Taymib is your radio girl on 96.9Fm and the creator of Skinny Girl In Transit — a popular series about the life of a radio presenter–. She recently launched her own online TV channel called the BoxTVng.
Oladotun Ojuolape (DO2DTUN)
Do2dtun commenced working at Cool FM in 2004, and he currently anchors the “Midday Oasis Show” alongside presenter Kemi Smallz. After pioneering a dance group called Xtreme dancers while in the University and featuring in music videos like D’banj’s Why Me and Same Ni by Dj Zeez, Dotun came to wider prominence as a TV and radio personality, hosting shows and concerts.
After five years with City FM, Kemi Smallz joined Cool FM. Kemi Smallz, who is one of the popular on-air personalities in Lagos is now with Cool FM. Kemi who is an award-winning presenter has built a niche on the radio as one voice you can’t afford to put aside.
Joyce is the host of SMEAfrica on Cool Fm, the show brings entrepreneurs to share their journey and inspire others. She also started the Cook Show for Entrepreneurs.
Esther John (IamLavoca)
Saturday Afternoon Groove is on lockdown because of her. Esther is a broadcaster, producer and techpreneur.
Rotimi Alakija was popularly known by his stage name as DJ Xclusive is a famous Nigerian disk jockey, record producer, model and a recording artiste. In 2011, he became the resident DJ for CoolFM 96.9 and also joined Empire Mates Entertainment as Wizkid’s official DJ.
Born in West London, June Ubi who is an on-air personality; rapper, singer, songwriter and performer returned to Nigeria as home beckons. She runs the midnight belt on Cool FM –The Overnight Lounge–.
Nnamdi Nwabasili (N6)
N6 a popular rapper turned OAP and also a blunt broadcaster. He has had it rough with some celebrities in the past. He runs the show the Night Cafe on Cool FM.
