Young music acts we are betting on in 2019

We are in 2019 already and alot is already happening. In 2018, some artistes came to limelight and gave us tunes to keep us grooving. We looked through a few artistes who had potentials last year and could take 2019 for a serious jump start. Here they are;

Zlatan Ibile

The Zanku made two hit songs last year and remains a contender for next rated in 2019. He also headlined his first concert late last year. This is a huge step for the artiste who seems to have a strong grip on the street. During Davido’s concert in December, Zlatan was instrumental in awakening the spirit of those in attendance after a rather dull start. We believe Zlatan is not done yet and would be unleashing his true nature this year.

Fireboy

One of Olamide’s latest signee to YBNL is Fireboy. The artiste sounds different from anything we have heard from a label like YBNL. His tracks or hooks on the latest album, YBNL Mafia family was phenomenal. The artiste is going places with his sonorous voice, the perfect replacement to Adekunle Gold. Can Fireboy fill Adekunle Gold”s big shoes?

Goodgirl La

She is managed by one of industries best– The Zone Agency– and has grown to become a music sensation in 2018. She performed at Olamide’s concert and is also on Peruzzi’s recent EP. LA who began her music career in 2015 has 3 releases till date including her standout single — Faraway. We are betting on her, 2019 should be her year.

Bella Alubo

Bella is a recording and performing artist signed to Tinny Entertainment. She recently released an EP. Bella is well on her way to being a game changer in the Nigerian music scene in 2019.

Perruzi

I don’t think Peruzzi is stopping anytime soon. If 2018 was a breakthrough year, 2019 should be a walk in the pack. Peruzzi who is behind DMW recent success lyrically thinks he deserves more love from Nigerians. However, he needs to continue working hard on his craft, 2019 might just be his year. To do that, he needs to be far from Davido’s shadow.
