Next Rated Musicians that made rounds in 2018

Every year, we see new music acts break into the very competitive music industry. This year wasn’t any different. We had music acts who got us dancing through out the year. Check them out;

Zlatan Ibile

The Zanku coroner came with an electrifying music titled Able God. The song was a banger across the country. The song had Chinko Ekun and Lil’Kesh but the song was enough to bring Zlatan to the fore this year.

Teni Entertainer

This was definitely her year, Teni who graduated from college this year has been releasing hit songs back to back since the beginning of the year. Teni who started her music career by singing covers on Instagram has grown to becoming a music sensation. She was in major shows this December, which shows that she is gradually gaining grounds.

Peruzzi

Tobechukwu Victor Okoh with the stage name Peruzzi is a talented singer and songwriter. The musician caught the eye of DMW boss, Davido and ever since joining DMW from GoldenBoy Entertainment. The singer has found his foot in the music industry releasing hit back to back with the DMW.

Later in the year, he was featured by the legendary 2Face in the popular hit single Amaka. The singer has released his debut EP titled Heartwork. 2018 was his year and it looks like he would be around for long time in the music industry.

Johnny Drille

This wasn’t his year when it comes to awards as he lost in all categories at the Headies. However, for the first time, Johnny hosted two live shows and it was electrifying. It was a stamp on his kind of music that he is on the right path. Infact, Don Jazzy was proud that he made the right call signing the young maestro

2018 was interesting because we saw these music acts come out of nowhere and steal the show. We would look out for them in 2019.
